Sakura Matsuri in other words “The Cherry Blossom” festival in Washington D.C. takes place during the most beautiful time of the year in Washington, D.C. attracting many people from around the country to the Washington Monument area. The Cherry Blossom blossom process lasts around week or two. If you plan to visit, please check the official site for information. I don’t suggest that you go to the main parade as it is always very crowded. But please go to the many other Sakura Matsuri events. In the video, the Timelapse work was shot every night and day for about a month and eventually the shots were compressed into just a few seconds.
